Accessible parking is where most older church lots fall short. The rules in brief: the number of accessible stalls scales with your total stall count, at least one must be van-accessible with a wider access aisle, and stalls must sit on the shortest accessible route to the entrance — with proper signage, not just paint. Layout Ideas That Earn Their Paint on Sunday

• A marked drop-off zone near the main entrance keeps the curb moving and families dry.
• Crosswalks between parking rows and the entrance — the single best safety upgrade for kids and seniors.
• One-way flow with arrows turns the post-service exit from gridlock into a queue.
• Designated visitor stalls near the door say welcome before anyone shakes a hand.
• Compact-stall rows in overflow areas can add capacity without new asphalt.

Scheduling Around Services

This part is easy: we stripe on weekdays, the paint is dry within hours, and your lot is ready days before anyone arrives on Sunday. For churches with midweek programs, we phase the work so part of the lot is always open. There is no reason a striping project should ever cancel an event.
